"Onyx" lives with Stuart and Nicola and their canine family at Sledog Alaskan Malamutes and Greenland Dogs in the United Kingdom. She stayed here until June ('06) so she didn't have to spend 6 months in a quarantine kennel. She gained some good experience as a sled dog while she was here :-) We miss her, but she's now in excellent hands!

Onyx made her competition Agility debut on October 12, 2008!
May 24, 2008 "Onyx" placed first in the Limit Bitch class (19 entries!) and 2nd in the Import dog/bitch class at the Alaskan Malamute Club of the United Kingdom's Specialty Show which was held in Markfield, Leicestershire, United Kingdom! Even out of coat, she looks beautiful!
March 21, 2008 "Onyx" placed first in the Graduate class at the Eastwood Kennel Association Open Show in Newark, United Kingdom!

"Onyx" made her conformation show ring debut at the Peterborough & District Canine Society show in the UK on July 8, 2007 and placed second in her class! She has also begun Agility training and is doing well. And in typical Malamute fashion "Onyx" especially enjoys the treats!
It was "Milo's" BISS Hyteton Athinademilo At Sledog turn to be groomed, but "Nero" didn't want to be left out so he jumped up on the table along with him :-) And "Onyx" (in the foreground) had to check them all out to make sure Nicola was doing a proper job of grooming "Milo"
