"Nero" lives with Stuart and Nicola and their canine family at Sledog Alaskan Malamutes and Greenland Dogs in the United Kingdom. He stayed here until June ('06) so he didn't have to spend 6 months in a quarantine kennel. He gained some good experience as a sled dog while he was here :-) We miss him, but he's now in excellent hands!

May 17th, 2009 "Nero" earned his United Kingdom Kennel Club stud book number at the Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show in Ingliston, Edinburgh, Scotland! "Nero" placed 2nd in both the Open Dog Class AND the Limit Dog Class!

May 24, 2008 "Nero" placed 2nd in the Open Dog class and he won the Stud Dog class at the Alaskan Malamute Club of the United Kingdom's Specialty Show in Markfield, Leicestershire, United Kingdom!

Puppies from "Nero's" first litter also did very well, with his daughter "Aria" Sledog Forest Stream taking Best Puppy in Show! "Aria's" brother "Mackenzie" Sledog Forest Mist won 1st in Minor Puppy Dog, Best Puppy Dog and Reserve Best Puppy in Show! And litter sisters "Roxy" and "Ziva" placed 2nd and 4th in the Minor Puppy Bitch class!

May 16, 2008 "Nero" completed the requirements for his AMCA Working Pack Dog title!

March 21, 2008 "Nero" won Best of Breed at the Eastwood Kennel Association Open Show in Newark, United Kingdom!

"Nero" placed 2nd in the Limit Dog class at the Crufts Dog Show in Birmingham, U.K. on March 8, 2008!

"Nero" placed 1st in his Open Dog class, won Best Dog and went on to win Best of Breed at the National Working and Pastoral Breeds Open Show in Coventry, U.K. on February 16, 2008!

It was "Milo's" BISS Hyteton Athinademilo At Sledog turn for grooming, but "Nero" didn't want to be left out so he jumped up on the table along with him :-)

And "Onyx" had to check them all out to make sure Nicola was doing a proper job of grooming "Milo"

With very limited showing and despite being in the country less than 7 months, "Nero" is awarded the 2nd top Import in the U.K. for 2006 by the Alaskan Malamute Club of the United Kingdom!

3-9-07, "Nero" placed 2nd in the Yearling Dog class at the prestigious Crufts Dog Show in Birmingham, United Kingdom!

"Nero" won his Junior Dog class and then went on to be awarded Reserve Best Dog (over 42 dogs!) at the Ladies' Kennel Association Championship Show in Birmingham, UK on December 9th, 2006!

"Nero" was awarded Best Junior in Show at the Alaskan Malamute Club of the United Kingdom's Championship Show, 9-23-06. There were 30+ other exhibits in his age group!
