Litter Born September 3, 2007
at Mountain Home ~ 4 Girls! & 1 Boy!
OK, we've resigned ourselves to the fact that there is a 'beaver gene'
So who gave Stealth the Kitty Cat Gene???
If she starts purring..... we've got real problems!!!
Stealth and Cruiser, Christmas morning 2008
Oh joy! Toys with eyes and squeakers that still work!
The pre-Christmas week brought snow to western Oregon
much to the delight of April
Unfortunately the heavy snow and ice damaged a lot of trees
But April is doing her best to help Pat clean up the mess in their yard
Sometimes having a dog with the 'Beaver Gene' comes in mighty handy!
Gemma in her winter wonderland of the great white north!
Stealth and Jake in November
Gemma is ever so gentle with her toys
Unlike her *bad sister Stealth* and *bad mother Cruiser*
who have de-eyeballed and de-nosed and de-squeakered and de-stuffed their toys
Just a few of the eyes and noses that they have removed...
Right now they have a toybox full of mostly blind toys ;-)
There is good snow in Finnish Lapland and Gemma is running in harness!
It was great to see these 2 littermates and their owners at the 2008 AMCA National Specialty!
Turbo and Mary - Pat and April
Turbo placed 1st in Rally Novice with a score of 99 to finish his RN title!
April placed 4th in the class with a score of 88!
Besides coming to the Regional and National Specialties for the Rally competition,
April got to try her hand at weight pulling for the first time
In the Novice class she pulled over 800 lbs. !
Turbo and his whole family made a vacation of the trip up to Washington
Mary and Wayne, Turbo's 1/2 brother Arwah and Scandal (the fox terrier) all made the trek
Their first stop was the Pacific Ocean beach at Grayland, WA - Thanks Wayne for all of your great pics!
Turbo thought that the kelp washed up on the shore was pretty cool
But he was much more proud of finding the only piece of driftwood on the beach
Oh no, the 'beaver gene' surfaces again! <vbg>
They attended the pre-National carting get-together and ran the dogs on the beach
Nichole Royer's Mal/Korean Jindo team, Sandi Shrager with Sunny Jr and Emmy, Mary and the boys
Mary and Turbo ready to begin the Rally Novice class
at the West Coast Area Regional Specialty
Turbo placed 2nd with a score of 96!
And at the Alaskan Malamute Club of America's National Specialty
Turbo placed 1st and finished his Rally Novice title with a score of 99!
He enjoyed *camping* at the hotel
On their way back home to California, they went up into the southern Cascade mountains
of Oregon to do a couple more days of carting
Look, it's Bella!
Bella helps with foster dogs from AMRONE (Alaskan Malamute Rescue of New England)
She's a great *role model* and helps them to adjust to new situations
She's had a nice summer
Bella especially enjoys playing in the sprinkler
or anything else involving water....
Including MUD PUDDLES!
All Aboard!
April and Pat took a ride on the 1.5 inch scale train with COALS, the Central Oregon Area Live Steamers
part of the the Eastern Cascades Model Railroad Club in Bend, OR
Going across the tresle, April says "Hey, that's a long ways down!"
April meets another new friend. A great breed ambassador, she gained many fans that day
Stealth absolutely LOVES the tire jump!

Takin' a break...
Turbo made his AKC Rally debut at the Fremont Dog Training Club on September 28th and earned his first Rally Novice leg with a score of 98 and 4th place!
Back home, he keeps himself entertained trying to pick plums off of the plum tree
...or is he trying to pick a squirrel out of the plum tree???
We got to see April compete at the Wenatchee Kennel Club Rally Trial on September 13th!
April and Pat warming up, or should I say *getting ready* to go into the ring
...it was 80 degrees, so warming up was unnecessary ;-)
Quite obviously, they are Best Buddies!
In the Novice B ring where they earned a Qualifying ribbon

April say's "OK, what do we do next??"
