Our philosophy has always been to make dog sledding trips fun for the dogs. Why would anyone want to do it otherwise? We teach our Malamutes with lots of praise and lots of patience. The adage "Practice makes perfect" certainly holds true with sled dogs.

Our training methods are not harsh, demanding or corrective. We prefer instead, to build positively on the dogs' natural abilities and their instinctive love of pulling. The end result is dogs that find being out on the trail in harness to be their greatest joy in life. And what is as much fun as gliding silently through a snow covered forest behind a group of dogs that are enjoying the day as much as you are?
